If we don't win this game season is effectively done. They still have a chance if they get their heads out of their asses and start winning games right now.

Honestly if they have their heads in their asses it'll be very hard to pull em out as it was probably extremely hard to put it in the first place.

Even if they win, the chance of turning around is slim to none at this point. They are 29 of 31, and they are playing 30th place team.

The only reason they still have a decent enough chance is because they're in the Atlantic and they have 4 games left against Boston.

He wasn't wrong, imo.

Karlsson's recovery from surgery and from lack of off-season training are hurting this team a lot. In terms of roster changes, Duchene for Turris is the only exchange that impacts the team today. Most would expect this to be a minor improvement. Oh, and losing Methot, but that was out of the team's control. The damage to the roster was done years ago, imo... signing Cowen, and trading for Ryan.
You forgot the former GM’s signings of Michalek, Phillips, Neil, Greening, and the trade for Phaneuf. Coupled with Dorion’s trades for Brassard, Burrows and Duchene, plus the Boucher coaching team, this team sank to a new low.

They honestly dont unfortunatly Imo have a decent chance

At best the slimmest of chance but not decent

They would have to play .655 hockey for the next 54 games (around Leafs type of hockey)

I dont think they played that good for that long since the 06 cup run

Not going to happen

It is definitely an uphill climb. Don't see this team getting out of this funk to the point of making the playoffs. Too many teams to leap frog. Too many issues and distractions

From here on in the team has to go 35-26-3 to get to 98 points. Barring some miracle that's probably not happening, but winning on Tuesday is a start.

There are only 82 games in the Season, not 92.
