Confirmed. $60 get's you a seat and transportation there and back. I booked the Thursday game, Friday is a stat holiday so things might get a little messy for this guy! :partytime:
What sections are the seats in? Thinking of driving down and staying at casino a couple nights. Getting own tickets

Not sure Tex, I'm assuming in a corner somewhere. Maybe some Sptfire fans would know where they usually place opposing teams fan bus.

Usually fan buses sit in the corners or in the east end, generally sections 107-110. Rarely are they anywhere else, but it would also depend on ticket availability.
Thanks! Can I assume that’s the end where Sting will be shooting twice? Will be fun to watch Sting firepower vs DiPietro’s heroics.

Game 1 tonight at the Hive, just looked online and I'm a little disappointed that there are STILL around 1000 tickets left for tonight. I thought for sure we would sell out or close to for both games this weekend.

Here's hoping the crowd helps out the boys and make the atmosphere more enjoyable and rowdy. I fully expect the black and yellow to come out flying tonight.

Sting 5
Spits 2

900+ tickets still left. Friday Night game, one of the top teams in Canada. Honestly, its embarrassing. I've been on the side of the team needs to do more to get the fans to come back, but now the team has done everything possible to get the fans back and they're not showing up.I hope its more of a walk up crowd tonight. Leaving for the game now, sitting in the corner seats as usual, I hope I'm not there by myself.

Classy move from the Windsor radio broadcaster throwing a candy rapper on the people sitting below.

You know it's the beginning of spring in Sarnia as once again the Sting are choking in the playoffs. You can set your watch by it. Hate to say it but with goaltending like this there is zero chance of advancing in the playoffs. Fazio was flat out lousy (which was made much worse by Di Pietro playing so well ).
The coaching was flat out lousy also. Why are certain defencemen continually seeing so much icetime when clearly they are a big detriment to the team. Nepotism is costly. A loss tomorrow and this series is over. Why are they not shortening the bench ?

Heard one of the commentators make the comment that the attendance of 3500 was a disappointment. What a joke. In 25 years this team has made it out of the first round two times. Not sure why he would think there should be open ended support for team with such a dismal historical track record.

Correct - Windsor shoots twice in the West zone and visitors shoot twice in the East. The East end is also far bigger than the West - roughly 40 rows compared to about 15-20.

What the heck happened to Fazio, the guy looks shaky on every shot. I know its one game but damn, to look that bad alarm bells should be sounding. Attendance was crap, Atmosphere was crap, intensity was crap. Hard to believe that was a playoff game I just watched. Unless this team does a 180 there is a 50/50 chance of losing this first round series and a 0% chance of beating Kitchener. Lol like Windsor is such a bad team. I get Dipietro played good but what did you expect? and honestly he faced 40 shots but there weren't a lot of odd man opportunities, a lot of outside shots and shots dipietro could see. Hard to say he stole the game when the Sting allowed 6 goals and were never within 1 goal.

Trevor will coach circles around the oaf. He’s playing chess while Hatcher is playing checkers. A fraud OA goalie like Fazio against a “money” goalie like Di Pietro. This isn’t going to end well.

Just another OHL post season for this fraudulent organization. Can’t believe that people still wonder why the attendance is pathetic. This organization is a disgrace. If they really want to get rid of the stench they need to get rid of Abercrombie. This parasite has been here since day 1.

Absolutely. Make no mistake a loss in this series would be a huge setback for this franchise. How many times can you tell the fanbase that this year it's different and then fail again ? Credibilty goes to zero even if the team does well in the regular season.
Unfortunately the current owners have inherited a crappy legacy but I think the average fan doesn't differentiate between them and the old owners. They only know that the Sting are a team that always choke, and next year the team will be nowhere near as good . Knowing this, I cant understand why the coaches don't have the team playing with a lot more urgency and desperation. Unless they have a pile of money they need to burn.

It’s one game, gentlemen. We played generally as well as it a bit better than them but were out-goaltended by a mile. Fazio’s post season win total remains at ZERO and unless that gets sorted out you will see a season ticket holder rebellion.
Team trying too hard to make perfect plays to beat perfect goaltender. Bad strategy. Shoot & get rebounds. Crash the net and hustle.
Definitely need a win Saturday

The best thing that can happen at this point, is to get swept and move the team. Time to start fresh because it’s not working in Sarnia. It’s impossible to get rid of the stench.

This organization is lucky to have fans.

Some adversity is good for this team. Even if they lose game 2, I still think they’ll figure it out and take the series. And they’ll be much better for it going forward.

Jebus pal enough with that crap eh? Spits got good goal tending, Sting didn't, that's hockey; shit like that happens all the time. So the team should just pack up and move? All the pressure was on Stings in the 1st game, at home with high expectations. No pressure whatsoever on Spits. Stings will adjust and come out looser tonight, get it deep, fore-check hard, shoot the damn puck and crash the net and win big.

What does this even mean. A sweep or a memorial cup championship will not make any difference on next year. The sting started "fresh" a few years ago under Hatcher. If you look at when they started "fresh" under Hatcher you will see an upward trend. I full expect them to win this series. A second round is still a trend in the right direction. I will say this, I use to be a goalie and I played at a decent level of Jr. hockey. When the other goalie is playing hot and getting peppered with shots, stopping them all, playing great and you're in the other end not doing a whole lot, its uncomfortable and unsettling, you feel like all the pressure is on you especially if you're the heavy favourite.
