Two things I like are: he is going to push RNH harder than Cagguila is right now and he has playoff experience. Gives us more options upfront, especially if we pick up a veteran winger tomorrow. I don't mind the deal....could be a good buy low opportunity like Maroon was.

All 3 of them seem like players we can use going forward. I would rather get Khaira and Slepy some playoffs experience than bring in someone like Iginla.
We are already holding out Puljujarvi and Caggiula as is.

One more veteran forward and one more vet Dman can be added tomorrow I guess.

Pretty simple, he replaces Caggiula in the lineup. Gives McLellan the option to move his centres around a bit more, maybe lets him put RNH on the wing if he slows down again.

Last thing the Oilers should be doing right now is dealing either RNH or Eberle. Both are starting to turn things around right now.
