That can't be right. There are more no talent goons in the AHL. 1 would think that would result in less cheapshots because players are afraid of the goons. That's what Crysis would have me believe anyway

For sure. 'Goon' is still a role that is very much alive in the AHL but has nearly been entirely phased out of the NHL.

In my opinion, you gotta start fining the coach for this type of behaviour. His job is to control his players and he's clearly failing to do so.

I've been impressed lately with how smart and self-controlled (relatively speaking) NHLers are compared to minor leaguers and especially juniors.
