Agreed. I think, if the Senators are serious about him, and as a good-will gesture, spend the money on getting him seen by the best of the best. Even if it doesn't save his hockey career, it may make the rest of his life more tolerable.

that sucks.

Terrible news on Maidens. Hope he sees a specialist, or at least another doctor, so many things can cause concussion like symptoms, it's easy for doctors to misdiagnose the true cause.

Gotta tickets to Saturday and Sundays game, very excited to see the younger players live!

this is horribly sad for Jarrod, i hope all the best for him in the rest of his life, and to realize that hockey is only the beginning of the rest of his life, and that he finds a job and life without these horrible head problems

This. As long as he can get from point A to point B without losing a tire, I couldn't care less how awkward his stride is. He isn't a break-away artist by any means, but his skating is more than good enough for his cerebral playing style.
