Seems like it came apart and rolled over.

They have moved it back.

Probably was not fastened properly.

I wonder will they prepare the ice as if an NHL game is coming up a few days from now and leave it until the new season starts...or this is just a trial run, make another sheet in September as training camp approaches.

Does anyone know where the Oilers will enter the ice? As well as the visiting team?

It looks as though the Zamboni door is on the Oilers End (as opposed to Rexall where it was visiting team end) I don't imagine the visiting team will skate through the Oilers zone (specifically at the beginning of the game during pre-game ceremony) Is there an side board entrance for visiting teams?

I personally like how in Rexall the Oilers were able to have a straight shot onto the ice and they could "run" onto the ice. I find it annoying for teams who have to weave in and out from behind a bench to get on the ice in some arenas...

Tunnels are at the outside ends of each bench.

He played Rexall like 2 years ago... He's playing the Molson Amphitheatre in Toronto tonight (seats 16,000). I don't think it'll be an issue.
