Some people says that Rimouski lacks of depht, and it's true.

Can someone know if Dannick Jasmin-Riel could comeback or if it's too late

If it's not too late, do u think he could be interested????

Jasmin-Riel is probably out of shape now and he left the team for perosnal reasons.

Doubt he would come back, doubt Rimouski would ask him to come back.

Jasmin-riel is not playing hockey anymore thats for sure.
They tried to call him all summer...

As for Pouliot, he is mostly playing at center but Roussin and Crosby are taking most of the face-offs.

Anyway when they are on the ice there is no position really especially in the offensive zone they are all over the place.

Back when Pouliot was taking the faceoffs,Sidney and Pouliot were sharing
the "actual role" of center as far as positional play-like you say all over the
place. They are also mixing things up at times with Sidney playing with some
other guys.I think part of the plan is to keep the other teams guessing and
make it hard to match up and cover Sidney.

Oceanics can make the mem cup. Sure their defense is average and they are top heavy, but look what happens when a team gets on a hot streak. If Rim get on a hot streak in the playofss or the mem cup they can beat anybody. If they get hot they can beat London. I dont think theyll make it but they could.

Rim fans are you still upset with Roussins effort. I heard a lot of bad stuff from Rim fans about his effort in the arly parts of the season. Has he improved.

Well anyway being non north american i am supporting the Oceanics. If thier offense fires the could go deep.

London looks pretty much unassailable right now but anything can happen in a
short series like the Memorial Cup.Rimouski is looking good in the Q but it won't
be a cakewalk by any stretch.Chicoutimi has Lascek back and they should
be tough.Halifax has also been strong and have perhaps the best defence in
the league but goaltending might be a problem.Moncton looks like a darkhorse
now but if they recover from injuries and Crawford gets hot they have a chance.

I thought a little update might be nice since the streak is still alive and far more impressive:

It's now 15 WINS in a row (And 18 undefeated).

I might be wrong since I'm not a QMJHL specialist by any mean but i think this streak is not due to an easy schedule at all. They have faced other top teams plenty of time during the last 3 weeks. In fact, they may even have faced highers teams in the standings (than them) more than lower ones (taking into accounts the standings at the beginning of the streak as obviously with 15 wins back-to-back, there is no teams over them left ;) )

Im no specialist in the Q but Rim have a lot of offensive firepower and if they reach the mem cup they would be very difficult to beat. London sure are the favs but in a short tourny with 3 other very good teams and if one team hot they can be beaten.

Even said that i would be suprised if London were beaten and especially if it were a Qteam to do so.

It will be interesting to see Rimouski in the playoffs. It will be interesting to see how Crosby can lead a team during a grinding playoff run.

I think they have a pretty good chance at making an appearance, but ultimately London looks to have the Memorial Cup locked up, even before considering the home ice advantage.

I agree with your first comment - seeing whether Crosby (and, really, his line) can carry an otherwise average team will be very interesting indeed. I tend to agree with posters who expect a playoff run to gradually grind these guys down, but given the performance since the WJC, you have to root for Crosby and Rim.

As to London having a lock, I think this is a bit early. The format for the Memorial Cup lends itself to upsets.
