I'd straight up swap him out for Donato. Some will say Heinen, but Heinen has shown me at least something and gives me some hope. Nash is useless.

When he first arrived he was driving possession and making plays. Now he just throws prayers at the net from bad angles. Not good

I'm so goddam sick of this guy taking long-distance low percentage shots every time he gets possession. This guy has elite skill and size, would it f***ing kill him to carry the puck or take it to the net?

Quite possibly has the most skill I've seen for someone who has the worst finish I've seen. Someone said it earlier, when he has the puck, even if he gets a decent scoring chance I am just almost emotionless because I know it aint going in. Not sure what happened to him but he has ALL the tools but cant put it together anymore.

He's got no hockey sense. He's got skill/size/skating but is dumb as rocks.

He just can't score anymore unless it is a Noel Acciari type goal. Not what you want for a guy with his skills and being a top 6 player. I was so happy to get the guy, and he started off for us decently but the last couple weeks of the season and in the playoffs he has been a real disappointment. Can't see him coming back next season and don't really want him back at this point.

I don’t know what games you guys are watching. He was one of the best Bruins tonight.
Bro, is that a serious post? We're talking Rick Nash not Reilly Nash, right? (Though RN20 was not very effective tonight, either.)
If you think RN61 was good tonight, or last game, or really anytime this series, then I just don't know what I can say.

Rangers fans warned us he would no-show in the playffs.

He has been a disappointment ... no need to claim otherwise.

Both his linemates were playing great, he's just big and dumb.... but seemingly unwilling to pay the price in front of the net or in the corners, like a David Backes. He needs to show up soon if he wants any kind of decent UFA offer from anyone this summer.

Some players have one gear regardless of season or playoffs. That’s Rick Nash. He plays consistent but never takes it to another level when the game gets harder to win

He isn't producing so I expect this talk but the guy is playing good I have zero problems with him .

I agree he is playing well- for a 3rd or 4th line defensive specialist. We gave up a decent offensive player in Spooner, Lindgren, and picks for a guy that was supposed to be the missing piece on our 2nd line to make it a real scoring threat. I don't think it is unreasonable to expect more from him. We got him to produce; points aren't a bonus when you give up a lot to get a player like that at the deadline. He might finally start scoring, and if he is going to, Monday would be the night to do it. I don't feel super hopeful about it though.

Rick Nash was a great player when he could beat guys with his speed and finish his chances. Now that he can't do either of those things, he is just kind of pathetic. His deficiencies would be a lot easier to live with if he didn't play such an individualistic game.

Well said.

Nash is filling the void of a 3rd and fourth liner and is doing it really well but like you said the Bruins brought him in to do more and that is score.

Id sit him. I really would. I know it wont happen but there's no way the Bruins are bringing him back next yr with their forward depth. Who knows maybe it will light a spark under his @$$.

Put Heinen back on the right side with Krejci and have Wingels with Nash and Backes.

If you think RN61 was good tonight, or last game, or really anytime this series, then I just don't know what I can say.

He had 5 chances tonight?

-Hit the post in the PP or was screening for Pastrnak.

-Shot right before the fantom broken stick

- First shift of the third he had a high quality chance follow by a bank hand that missed by a foot high blocker.

- Chance off the rush with 5 minutes left.

He’s playing just fine. Chances were there... Monday 2 of those will go in and he will be a hero.

You people are seriously nuts in the playoffs. Find some objectivity.

Aside from the first PP unit the Bruins are playing well and trading chances with another really good hockey team.

If you expected Rick Nash of 2008 well that’s another story.

Sorry outside of not producing he is doing fine . Creating a lot of chances ,good puck control . I understand people being upset but he looks fine to me .

I am a huge Riley fan ,check my posts on him lifetime but he isn' t playing well . Charlie has been good but terrible tonight , as great as marchy is he was a big defensive liability tonight . I rate a player on a game by game basis and I feel Nash has been good four of five .

But that is exactly the point- we gave up a lot to get him because we needed someone to produce on the line with Krejci. He does play well overall, is consistent, seems to bring an effort every night, but we acquired him to score goals or make goals happen and he has done very little of that.

I'd keep him in but swap him with Heinen. He's still strong defensively, and doesn't turn the puck over, but he hasn't show chemistry with krejci.

It's hard for Nash to show chemistry with anyone, because he is an individualistic player.

This wouldn't be a bad Idea. I like it because he is really good defensively and Heinen has some creativity with the puck on his stick. He just doesn't look to shoot every time he has the puck.

That is not a bad idea. Whatever we expected of Nash we are stuck with him and I agree, no way he sits- we paid too much for him and he does do a lot of things well. But if he's going to play like a 3rd liner, lets stick him with R. Nash and Backes and see what they can do. Heinen can play with Krejci and is defensively responsible.
