As for the game, I hope it's a repeat of their exhibition game, but unlike Denmark, Latvia hasn't given a full 60 minutes yet this tournament, so I'm not getting my hopes up. If they play to their abilities though, Latvia should come out on top.

The teams are pretty even among the skaters, but Latvia should have the advantage at goal. I'd say it's something like 60-40 for the Latvians, at most.

Latvia won 5-0 in exhibition game against Danes few days before tournament. So, that probably makes us the favorites, but in reality both teams are even in strenght.

Correct, whichever team wins today will have an even harder task to survive next season as Germany is probably better than both of these teams playing today.

Not that I had great expectations at the start for Latvian team in this WJC but I have to say that Latvia has played under their actual potential so far and for all the games we just showed up only for half a game. Quite shameful... even for Latvia. Can't say that I'd be very surprised if we lost this one too even thou we won the exhibition game.

But anyway, I really hope Latvia can at least show up for this game and play as good as they can. Truly hope that next WJC I'll be able to cheer for Latvia again!

I'd say we boss the possession (if there's such stat in hockey), but both teams have had an equal amount of scoring chances.
