Great timing honestly. Was afraid they were too poor to do it. The team has a lot of talented players and steps needed to be taken to keep them from becoming disassociated from the team.

About franking time.

I literally saw the same disfunction in Oakland with Mcdaniels as we did in denver

It was like every single play was the equivalent to pulling teeth

usually coaches have a few trusty plays and screens that are go-to's that always work

with McDaniels everything is sooooo damn difficult when it doesnt have to be

Fired in the middle of night, damn

McDaniels leaves another team in ruins as he gets kicked out the door after less than 2 years.

This should close door on McDaniels HC career

Why the late-night firing?

McDaniel's leaves another team in ruins and far worse shape than when he took it over
I wouldn't say he left the Raiders in ruins. He did a very bad job but the team is not in irreparable shape. The best thing he did was jumpstart our QB process, it was time to start the process of drafting somebody. Jimmy G sucks but Carr wasn't any good either. McDaniels sealed his own fate by doing this.

There's no permanent lasting mistake that comes as a result of McDaniels, they didn't waste a first rounder on Tebow or have a ton of dead cap or anything like that. The worst thing he did is in game management of the talent at his disposal, that is something that can easily be fixed. The players he drafted don't suck. We didn't trade any of our future picks either. There is something wrong with his coaching process, NOT the players (other than QB but that was already a problem before he got to the team).

The drafting this year and last was solid, we got pieces. Issue with McDaniels was too many Patriots players within the ‘system’ that was there, Meyers has looked solid but Hunter Renfrow has looked like a scrub and not getting involved in the offensive play calling. Also, the tight ends were MIA for the first few weeks not getting involved in the offense.

Next, Jimmy G has been shit and how inconsistent the offensive line has been he’s been terrible. Patriots and Niners oline was good, Raiders not so much. His reads are shit, deer in the headlights.

Defense, it’s been better as the weeks have gone on. Yesterday, the defense carried the load but they were gassed.

So with that being said, ride the rookie QB.
We’ve seen Garbagopplo enough, he sucks.
