TBH, Finland is the higher seed - over Sweden.

Sweden vs. Finland is almost a 50/50 game. I lean Sweden still probably.

Others should be pretty straight forward. Canada. USA. Russia.

Only one I see a remote chance of being an upset is Germany over Russia. But even then that will take a hell of a lot from Stutzle+Peterka and Russia playing at their worst.

That last one is a toughie. Both teams no-showed to end the prelims. I still like Sweden’s roster better on paper, though the Terror Twins aren’t scaring anyone and Broberg’s health is a big concern. Wallstedt should be the guy going forward so the goaltending is fine. Finland doesn’t have enough depth for my liking. If only they could have gotten Aatu and Puistola on that roster, but someone told me they didn’t fit because Finland had too many players better than them. How’s that working out?

I feel like Finland vs. Sweden is 50/50 at this point... but I hope Sweden can advance.

I'd be really surprised if any of the other quarterfinals has any upsets.

My very finnish prediction: Sweden vs. Finland will be a tough game. At the end Finland will take a lot of stupid penalties and Sweden punish every time. So Sweden advances and everybody here in Finland demand that Pennanen gets fired. I have a feeling that Sweden will be a champion this year. They even have their own boogeyman(Söderblom) just like Finland at the seniors in 2019(Anttila).
