I hope it could be very tight. But i expect a swedish team in the same form as vs Russia. This is verry diffcult for the Finns.

Not sure who I'd take in this matchup. Finland has been a bit better but haven't had the same level of competition Sweden has faced. Imagine this will be a close one.

Well, Sweden is a dark horse at this tournament. Playin without a coach is not easy. Then, there is an intergenerational problem of star players performances for Team Sweden, at WJCs almost no swedish future star has made a huge impact.
Still, Sweden 3-1

So far most are betting on Finland, which is in line with their status as powerhouse of this tournament with 3/7 of the last gold medals. Anything less than gold, or at least reaching the finals would be a big upset. Got to hope they are able to handle that immense, IMMENSE pressure when they are so heavily favored to win against an underdog.

I'm joking obviously, I think they are pretty evenly matched but I can't not predict a swedish win, 4-2.

I'd say Finland 4-2 so that we can go and lose to Canada again whenever we'd face them.

Canada is a different animal but Finland winning the 2019 WJCs on NA rink is one to remember.

Yes but it s important "how" you lose vs CAN. This "how" was the problem.

Sweden will dominate the game quite heavily and win the shot count. However, the result could go either way. It will come down to puck-luck or not.

Keys to the game for Sweden:

- Raymond & Holtz need to bury their chances
- Goalkeeper need to stop the few shots he faces, which will be hard bacause many of them will come when the D is not set up and the GK will get "cold" between the shots. Not a situation any goalie prefer.
- D need to keep up in the transitions (ie; Broberg can play if he's healty, otherwise not!)
- Keeps shots low and on target and crash the net on rebounds. Missed shot could result in a break-away.

Keys to the game for Finland: (edit)
- Keep the Swedes on the outside
- Keep disciplined and get the Swedes frustrated. Capitalize on PP.
- Quick first pass to start transitions and not let the Swedish D regroup
- Keep attacks short and regroup.

So basically it looks like Sweden is playing themselves. Finland has no part in this. :)
