Whatever they did in the 1st intermission worked. It was a good game in the 2nd and 3rd.
I’d rather see a more even effort, but I’ll take starting slow & finishing strong.

If we're not going to trade for a top 6 player I feel like Eyssimont fits there as well as any of our options. Gagner hasn't shown well there.

That 1st period was brutal.
Loved seeing Bowness fired up behind the bench.
Then the 3rd and 4th lines started to take over.
Samberg with his 1st NHL goal and we were on our way.
Happy with the win, but, we have to be better.

Took awhile to get going today, but they got their heads into and ended up pulling away. On to the Panthers.
In the end we put the Ducks, uhm excuse me, canards through a Jet engine

3/5 Hammers this afternoon and only for the 2nd and 3rd periods, the first was embarrassing as most of the team played like crap but slowly in the second the Jets started to take control and the last half of the third was the Jets taking advantage of a bad team on a b2b. Solid contributions from Easy Mount and Big Sak. Perfetti got the all clear to shoot and with his sublime passing he will become what we think he will be, the goals will come. That had to win this game and they did.

The first 30 mins of the game:
Jets xGF%: 19.4%
The last 30 mins of the game:
Jets xGF%: 88.4%
One of the most extreme games I recall from the Jets when it comes to the delta between the first and second half of the game. I am glad they were able to pull it back but Anaheim is a bottom feeder, a start like that against any average or above average NHL team won't give you a chance to come back. Helle's save on Beau was huge.
Coincidentally Eyssimont was moved to the PLD line right around the 30 min mark. Gagner is better fit on the 4th against easier competition. Lets get Harkins back in the lineup for AJF next game.

Works his ass off - keeps it simple - sets the example - Bones knows what he is doing.
Nice to see Mikey get a look on the 2nd line - really like this player.
