Europe goes from The Azores in the west to Ural mountains in the east. Nothing new here. If you want to complain about something it should be Israel competing with UEFA.

Well Israel I understand because all Arab countries hate them

it could even have been further away in Kazakhstan. Part of me don't understand why these countries that have more than one option for where they can play join uefa instead of the Asian federation, it would be so much easier for them to get to the world cup

Most difficult QF game to predict.
I think if it was round of 16 and Czechs were the underdogs.. I'd take them because they are good spoilers.

Now they've beaten Holland and are on a nice run (Beat England and tied Belgium recently) so they are feeling good and confident, so they'll lose.lol

Funny (to me) sidenote... for the Canadians.

I'll be out at Lake Superior and want to watch the game. Closest town is Wawa, Ontario (which is far from everything) and I'm trying to find a pub to see it at.

So I will be driving to Wawa, On to watch a game being played in Baku.lol It's the oddest combo of locations I think I've done. Ironically, I was in Melbourne Australia when the Czechs lost to Greece in 2004.. now that was a much cooler circumstance as Melbourne has a huge Greek Population and the game was aired at the Casino at 4am. Lot of happy Greeks and one sad Czech.

Winner of this match will reach the final. I dont see the two other in this bracket to have much chance.

The only thing that speaks for England is if the referee is as much a homer as he were last night and a homecrowd. Their general play in the games have been abysmal horrible.

 I love how international tourneys can do this to you. I was in Cairns & Uluru, while watching the German NT's march to another defeat at the hands of Spain in South Africa.

Anyways, I'm kinda feeling you guys here. My brain tips toward Denmark, but my gut is telling me to stick with Schick...

This feels like one of those games where at the end you say - the better team did not win. And I say that without having any idea which team that will be.

This game, I don’t have the stomach for it.

I just have a feeling the Czechs take it.
They are gonna do a Lecister - Slavia on us.

And, we have never beaten the Czechs at a major tourney - Not even close.

I'm curious about the negativity from the Danish fans here. They seem like a better team on paper than the Czechs and have thoroughly dominated each game they've played (really just unfortunate results with Belgium and Finland).

The Czechs haven't controlled the game as much and have been reliant on some clinical finishing. I expect they'll mostly sit in back in shape tomorrow and wait for opportunities...but the Danes will have the ball a lot more and will get their chances too.

Not sure what you refer to, as I just three posts up predict that the winner of this game will reach the final.

The way the Danes have played will for the most parts not be possible tomorrow night because we play in the f***ing desert with 30+ temperatures. They might be able to do that for 15-20 minutes, but will have to rely on a solid defense unless the referee allows for multiple waterbreaks. It will be a good test for what it is like to play in Qatar next year. I just hope nobody on the two teams collapses due to the extreme conditions.

I really dont understand how UEFA decided it would be a good idea to hold some matches in Baku. The only possible explanation is that some UEFA bosses are running away with some serious cash in their pockets.

One waterbreak per halftime, I believe.

For me, and for many Danes I know, it stems from our complete and utter failure in alot of knockout games, and our failure to be the favourites - We always seem to crumble when we are favourites and the other team is solid.

That coupled with the fact that the Czechs just
don’t suit us, and also the heat is not suited for our high tempo game.

Then and there
Denmark believes that holes can be found in the opponents midfield.

Looking forward to seeing both teams scoring multiple goals.
