I have thought that Barbashev has been impressive in every practice/game I have seen him in. One of the big problems is him not getting an opportunity with more established players. They seem to constantly have him centering 3rd/4th line. They originally had him on a line with Kostin in camp and the two combined for some great play but they split that up real quick.

I would have loved to see him get some time in the top6 this preseason playing with Schenn, Schwartz, Tarasenko ect.

Sounds like Schenn scores on a good play by Blais.

He reminds me in a lot of ways or a Schwartz type. Not a lot of flash, plays in straight lines and just outworks everyone on the ice.
