Therrien's not getting fired.

If the teams goes 1-11, I bet he will. Players will be ok with Byron/Flynn on the first line when the team is winning. But I bet there will be some rebellion in the room if the team goes 1-11 and MT still play 4th liner for 17-19min.

Or a guy that has 1 point in his past 14games for 18minute every game since then.

Habs have a 94.1 PDO in December, 55.5% score-adjusted Corsi, 56.1% of scoring chances, 2-6-0 record.

No way Therrien is getting fired with the great underlying numbers we're putting up

You are probably right, I mean he didn't get fired last year when those numbers were awful, but we had Price, so..............

My hope is hitting the road will help the guys save the month's record...and get us a couple of tough wins.

Yep we have been playing well but have been extremely unlucky.

You're assuming a lot here. How do you know Therrien will be playing Byron/Flynn on the first line for the next 10+ games? I understand your argument, but I think a Therrien losing streak will be justified by injuries to Price and Gallagher. Not necessarily something I agree with, but it's an easy defensive-mechanism for Therrien/Bergevin.

Stop posting this crockery.
We aren't winning the battles in the tough areas.
Do you have an advanced stat for that?

Another game over and another loss. Game 2 of the 8 game road trip and the Habs are 0-2 and been outscored 11-3. I don't think the Habs will win another game in 2015 TBH. The team is a complete mess.

I predicted we'd get 1 point on this road trip. I'd probably revise that to 0 with the amount of usage DD is getting.

I read a tweet somewhere that its our worst month in losses with 11 ever. With the start we had that also was a record, this has to be one of the 1st time in pro sports that there is such a drastic contrast in same season. Its mind boggling.

I was gonna start a new thread for January predictions but December was such a disaster with the most losses in one month in the Habs 105 year history I changed my mind. :)

Pretty such that's the first time ever such an old franchise beat its own record record for best start and worst month in the same season.

Anyway MT got his name in the records book the the rest of human existence so i guess we can start winning again right?
