Gotcha. My guess is they are arguing one vs. Two way. That can make a big difference if he somehow clears waivers
Hopefully, seems like a strange thing to still be hung up on this close to training camp. Just feels like a situation where Chisholm is probably ready to go to a team where he's not buried and the Jets probably don't want to lose him for nothing on waivers. Might be the best option for all parties.

Which team won't he be buried on? He is a 8-10 depth defenseman on a middle of the road defense. Top contenders have better waiting in the wings and bottom feeders won't give up assets on a player likely to be on the waiver wire within a month or so.

Again, he's younger and much, much better than Gawanke, who just returned a player recently picked in the second round who has shown well in the AHL, from a bottom feeder.

Have you watched him much? He's a great puck mover and would immediately be our second best skater on defense. He's not weak defensively, not small, and has been Gawanke's set up man on the first powerplay unit for the past few years. What weaknesses does he have that makes you think his game won't translate?

He was returned for a former 2019 2nd round pick that has ran through his ELC years with pretty much the same career arc. AHL tweener trade off IMO.

With Blake Wheeler bought out and playing in NYR….. Buff/ Little (LTIR) and Andrew Ladd retired….. who’s going to step up…. And throw any malcontents track suits in the shower!

I miss the good old days of Wpg Jets 2.0

Are we on 3.0 yet …. Or does that not officially start until Schief is traded?

Or Chevy canned?

Does anyone know when the group participating in the Young Stars tournament will start skating?
