What are your picks for risers this year? Marody has maybe slipped unfairly due to missing part of his season.

I think we should rank all 37... No sense stopping at say 20. It's a long summer..

And we could do the goalies at the same time...in a different poll of course.

Then I DO hope, once the 2 polls are done, we do 1 big one where we pit the top player vs top goalie. Nd if the goalie loses, he then goes against the next player until he wins.

So say 37 days for the players poll....1 a day.

Then 43 days for an entire prospect poll.

That will get us thru the long summer.....lol.

Now that the draft is finished, it is going to be so ... so ... so long before we have anything to talk about, aside from the goalie situation. It's going to be frustrating to read (and let's face it, write) circular arguments just going round and round, insults and disbelief going back and forth. It is going to be like playing badminton with infractions. Oh well, **** it.

That poll idea is interesting. I puzzle at where people might have the top goalie prospect in the overall ranking.

I think it would be more peaceful than the other threads. Or maybe I'm just too optimistic of a person. :dunno:

I think the draft being over will send some of the ... more aggressively terrible "opinions" on their merry way back to Facebook, but there are still going to be some whoppers on here. We'll just have to set them straight :yo:

Now that we have Patrick, Couturier will be called an overpaid 3C that must immediately be traded. You just wait for that argument. ;)

I see Vecchione was listed as a prospect. What's the consensus on if he belongs or not? I say no but have no real reasoning

Hexy just crushing it as our GM. :yo:
Look at all those prospects and picks !

Long gone are the days of waiting til Round #3 every year before we draft a player.
What a massive difference since the Clarke/Holmgren eras.

Just to be clear, we have 37 prospects that are under 25 and not in the NHL? Wow. Is that normal for a franchise? It seems high.

37 + Laughton + goalies (7)

Even crazier is that with a few CHL/NCAA free agent signings and 10 picks in the 2018 draft, the list could be 50+ next summer, even with guys like Patrick and Morin graduating and losing rights to other guys.

looking at a lot of these lists it seems a lot of people have really cooled on Laberge. i still think he's one of our top forward prospects.
