he's a locker room cancer and has a horrific attitude...is it worth it ?

He'd probably give a home town discount to the Habs just for the opportunity to party in Montreal for full year. Sign him to a year only as he might overdose along the way... ;)

Brings up the following question: If a player dies, is the team still on the hook for the Cap hit?

No. Only the I.R.S. can tax the dead.

We used to win a bunch of trophies before almost anyone in the NHL was born.

Okay, so now that we've determined that we are a team of the past...how about we try to fix the present and future? 23 wins without a Cup. And an incredible run during that time when we only saw 2 3rd round. So I'll repeat...who are we again?

We are who they thought we were. Our stories of winning were way before the internet.

If Bergy's going "All In For The Stanley Cup" then adding Shipachev(C) & Radulov(RW) to Galchenyuk(LW) as the 2nd line, the Habs "From Russia With Love" line would require Golden Earring's Hit, Radar Love for all the high-speed highlight goals they would score. Adding Stamkos(C) with Pacioretty)(LW) + Gallagher(RW) as the 1st line, firepower no longer being a shortage. Especially if they get Puljujarvi(RW) in the lottery to play on the 3rd line with Plekanec(C) + JDLR(LW).:handclap::handclap::handclap:

Of all the rookies, that's who you put on that line?

Hudon, Carr, Andrighetto?

How much for a UFA who can score 30-35 goals?
Radulov is UFA.

He becomes top-6 (top-3) immediately.

I don't know how much, but certainly a lot more than what Radulov deserves.

What is it with Radulov? There often seems to be reports of turbulence surrounding him.

Maybe he's just a troubled soul. :sarcasm:

We were brutal without a locker room cancer, how much worst can it be with a locker room cancer?

We aren't exactly a top destination for other UFA's so we'd be foolish not to try him out not for a year at around 4M IMHO.

If he's an option, absolutely. He'd probably be one of the most talented players on the team. Have him on a line with Max and Chucky, we'd have an actual 1st line with three legitimate threats. Gally moves down to the second line with Plek and we have a bit of depth on the right wing.

We are Habs fans and ours reality is pretty sad, this isn't about "would you like for player X to play for the Habs?" anymore, its do you think player X would be a good fit under Therrien?

This is pretty awkward because -normally- you don't have to worry about how a coach would handle a player that much, but in ours case we do have to worry about it...A lot.
