Hughes might become great, but he is just a prospect and even at the best outcome still years away from being a real impact player. And theres 22 other moving parts to figure out on the roster before you can take any advantage of it.

Rebuilding, retooling or middle of the pack you want to have him at pretty much any cost. Contending team sticks to what they have and take their chance now rather than later.
