How can you let United win on a massive huge super clear and obvious offside?

The camera angle deceived. He was just onside.

Newcastle knocks off Leeds, just proving that all lower table sides should just throw numbers forward a la Leeds or whatever

What an awful game. Two awful teams really.

Also two weeks in a row a player got hit by a bottle and HFboards posters comment less than when the same happened in L1 :D

Look at the number of posts in this thread. Not many people watched these games, period.

Glad that call stands. Forget the centimetres calls. Id rather have the emotions. Well done by VAR

Agreed and not just because I am a United fan. I complained about Kane being 1 pixel offside against Southampton too.

There are SO MANY variables that add uncertainties to these VAR calls - having to draw the lines at an angle, the camera not being in line with the last defender, which frame is chosen for the ball being "played", where they draw the lines for the attackers armpit etc etc etc.

And still they continue to apply ZERO margin for error and draw the lines 1 pixel wide. Compare to the Hawkeye system in cricket for LBW where they have an "umpires call" rule if the computer decides the decision is "wrong" by less than the allowed margin (in this case, half a balls width).
