That’s an excellent move for Pittsburgh. Why the hell did Toronto ever let Dubas leave ? Lol

Oh please, Dubas took advantage of a team that is really up against the cap.

Lets re-evaluate Dubas a couple of years from now.

Good deal for PIT. What is their cap situation now?
This sums it up still

I agree that Karlsson was the linchpin.

I also agree that Barbashev was a difference maker on their playoff run. But the relevant question is how is he going to perform going forward? Will he play like he did in the playoffs, or something closer to his career average?
It’s always a question but Smith is winding down. They were going to have to move him (more than anyone else) to keep Barbashev.

Hate to see a Misfit go, but time Marchys on.

Have to think this is a move to sign Barbashev. Smith is a solid player. Good at everything but not very good at anything. Still, gonna miss the chemistry he had with Wild Bill.

Just remember that every team up against the cap trades guys to make space but because it's Vegas they're "ruthless" and "have no loyalty."

Dubas must feel so relieved now that his trades are finally approved by HFboards

Why am I not surprised that HFboards thinks Dubas is suddenly a great GM?

Give them both 10Mx8

who cares when you can just pretend they had back surgery so they can be nice and fresh for the playoffs, right?
Obviously you're a very sore loser, but it's wroth mentioning that Vegas missed the playoffs entirely in 22-23 because of all their injuries.

And Mark Stone's second back surgery was definitely not pretend.
