Yes. Our defense has been horrid. Provy, Sanheim, and Myers all had steps back. Ghost has finally gotten healthy and playing much better than last year. Obviously not up to his par of when he was 10th in Norris votes, but still our best Dman.

The only rationale in waiving Ghost is to get our of his contract without taking money back to make a move for a bigger fish.

Seems unlikely that Gostisbehere will be claimed by another team, considering his cap hit.

The catch is AV is a putrid coach, and Fletcher is a moronic GM.

Ghost is far from perfect, but at worst he's an average top 4 with elite PP ability. You shouldn't be waiving these types.

I can't see a scenario where a team doesn't pick him up.

He's been one of our better defensemen this year and he doesn't make a lot of money for a mobile player.

Chuck Fletcher is a moron and I want Hextall back. I'd assume Hexy would pickup Ghost, but he was fine with Ghost being benched so I'm not sure his feelings on him.
