Buffalo scores a lot of goals and goals off the rush but aren’t great in their own end…Pens need great puck management and to get pucks deep and work in the O zone…they can do it but probably only for 20 minutes lol…

Hopefully we can keep up the strong play we've had of late. Tage Thompson is a terror but Buffalo isn't especially deep after that. They're middling 5v5 (18th in xgoals) so we should be able to control play there.

I remember when people were scoffing at Tage Thompson. When Buffalo traded ROR and he was included in the package, I thought he was the best addition. I like when guys like that do well. Same with Robertson in Dallas. I like when these new young guys do well. Tired of the Matthews-McDavid-Marner-Draisaitl non-stop BS.

Hopefully we sweep this series. We need some cheap wins given what we have coming up the rest of the month.

After this our schedule is..

Stars
Cats
Canes
Rags
Canes
Isles
Wings
Devils

Rough couple of weeks
Lots of home games at least in December, despite the tough opponents.

I'd be disappointed if we don't have a strong month just given how many home games we have.

Buffalo has a lot of young talent. They’re not far off from competing.

Chiming in from the Sabres side, but the Cozens line is also doing great.

Mittelstadt & Olofsson are your best bet to exploit the matchup.

Anyone have experience buying children jersey's? @Ginger Papa

I'm trying to buy my son a Pens jersey for Christmas but not sure what the best size would be. Would rather buy him something slightly oversized that lasts longer than one or two years. He'll be 5 in February.
Hey my Pens friend,

I’m only 5’8” & their Mum is 5’6”, so I was confident that my Gingers would not grow fast nor tall.

We gave them Small Adult Size jerseys when they were 9 & 6 respectively for Xmas and they wore them like nightgowns for a few years and then would wear them to school/out. They only outgrew them 2 years ago & are still in decent condition so they have pinned them on their bedroom walls.

Hope this is helpful. I may not always agree with your thoughts on the Main Board, but I appreciate your willingness to share your opinions.

So no experience with "toddler" sized jerseys. There is a Crosby yellow alternate Pens which is ugly, but I don't think he'll give a shit.

I wouldn't care about those buffalo bums if this wasn't the PIT-BUF matchup. Who's keeping the tabs on these two for the last five years? Was there a case that those others has won more than lost in last few years? And why is that? Whats your problem?

Weren’t they near the top of the Atlantic last time we played? Surprised to see them near the bottom of the division now. We should be able to beat Craig Anderson unless we completely shit the bed defensively.

I bought last year and almost had a aneurism over what they charged for youth size.
