I hate to break it to you guys, but...Crosby only scored 2 points against the Blue Jackets the other day. Tage Thompson scored 6 last night. Therefore, Thompson is 3 times better than Crosby. It's science!

In other news, the Blue Jackets are horrendous.

I'm within an hour of an NHL arena and I rarely go. Unfortunately

I'm a ten minute walk. Can still only make like 13 a year though. Work schedule.

For the posters wondering about the empty seats in the arena….you only have to look as far as the page counts in the GDTs to know that it isn’t just the economy. Even 3 years ago, we used to get at least 60-70 pages of comments during the regular season games and now we’re lucky to get 10. I’m sure Reddit and other sites has taken away some of the longtime users on here, but not to the extent that we’re seeing.

I personally think we’re seeing the results of a somewhat prolonged period of mediocrity.You would see it with some of those Blues teams in the past too.
