Are you of Russian origin? The reason I am asking is that Dahlin grew up in an area where bandy is a big sport and bandy is big in certain areas of Russia. Dahlin used to play bandy when he grew up and a lot of his skating technique comes from bandy.

I lived in the Czech Republic, it's a slavic country, maybe that counts .

I'm just a fan of Russian hockey for as long as I can remember. I think, save a few players like Crosby, Koivu, Lemieux and Forsberg, all of my favorite players have been Russians.

I wish we had bandy in Canada. Brazilians have a sort of inverse bandy for soccer, where the field is small like a rink and there's the free flow, dribbling and creativity that's typical of Brazilians and that you see from players who played bandy.

Dahlin's stickhandling has that feel too.

When the pressure is not on Galchenyuk looks elite

I don't see where there was any pressure on the Habs this season anyway since the season was pretty much over by the 10 game mark while Galchenyuk was rotting on the 4th line. Galchenyuk has been looking pretty good for a while now so maybe he's just now fully recovered from his knee injury which I've heard said takes a full year or more to fully recover from.

Thanks....I’m missing the whole damn game lol
You aren't missing much. Seems whenever I can actually watch the game and not be on this board its pretty damn boring. I just wish our hockey was more entertaining. I should have started watching earlier.

De la Rose is supposed to be a defensive specialist but gets lost all game without the puck. It's funny to watch, and even funnier to hear people spew the narrative that he's good defensively.

Jaffy, I also had this about you a couple of times. You never explained how you ejected yourself from an airplane full of passengers. :sarcasm:
