No, not really. His team Mora dont have any one of those but they have several competent players and the deal is to always get the puck to Pavel and he will score a goal.

He is the kind of player you envy the other team for having but really dont wanna see in your own team. If that makes sense. He have great offensive skills but just dont care to do anything else. They let him play his game in Mora, he is the star and he seem to enjoy life at the club. Cant see him making the same in the NHL, maybe if he would sign for a team that really didnt care about reaching the PO´s and just wanted some one to score goals while they are rebuilding or something. Dont know if he would be up for it even then doh.
I agree, can't see him doing any better in the NHL than he has in the past. Too slow on the skates and I'm not sure if he knows what backchecking is.

In today's salary capped NHL, inexpensive depth players are still very much in demand. Daniel Cleary with Detroit is living proof of highly touted junior prospects hanging onto their careers and eventually becoming key contributors. That does happen occasionally and a smart team can pick up a player who made all his mistakes with other teams and blossom eventually. Brendl does have a great deal of proven offensive skill, however, the problem has always been coaxing anything like a work ethic, desire, coachability or personal accountability to his fellow team mates out of his game. Theoretically Pavel Brendl should have quite a bit of hockey left in him and with the right environment, salary and management expectations still prove to be an asset to a team wanting a low cost risk. If he wants an NHL job badly enough he can probably earn one.
