It's not Byron, rather his contract and the covid cap stuff.If he were near league minimum he would be claimed all day.Lots of good players have cleared waivers this season because of the cap situation. It's a weird season.

The "value" of Lehkonen do not offset the cap Byron come with. Espacially next year he is due 4 millions.

We would need to retain on his contract to move him...which do not really make sense for us.

The contract was 1-2 years too long. I doubt that we can move him.
