Although it wasn't official until today, this a couple of weeks back at a Devils Alumni game was all I needed to know. My favorite Devil EVER, #26.

Also, for the locals ... Patty will be playing in the Boomer & Carton Mikey Strong charity game on April 21 at Prudential. Patty was interviewed this morning on their morning radio show and confirmed he was playing. :)

Congrats to Patty. Sorry he couldn't he go out under better circumstances. Like to see him get a shot at the Hall of Fame. An excellent player and all-around good guy. Thanks for the memories!! :handclap:

Going to miss Patty so much. Hopefully he sticks around with the organization in some form. Patty is one of the biggest reason's I became a devils fan.

What a career. I hope the turnout is good for these games despite the on
ice product

Reminiscing about the times when everybody on here used to be like, "I doubt he'll even get a thousand points. He's borderline for number retirement, let alone the Hall of Fame."

:)

I will never forget the roar and ensuing goosebumps when he scored that goal in the dying seconds against the Leafs in last year's finale.

Godspeed, Saint Patrik.
