What was his salary in the CFL? They bumped the practice squad salary up to $7200 per week this season which means he can pull in $122,400K for the season. More if the team makes the playoffs. He will no doubt exhaust all of his options for an NFL gig but I thought he made more in the CFL.

$122,400K eh? Somehow I don't think an NFL practice roster player makes $122 million. :laugh:

That's $122,400 USD though. Up here he was around $230,000 Canadian. So he's still taking a bit of a paycut, though not a huge one. If he's called up from the practice roster he's guaranteed a minimum of 3 weeks at the NFL minimum wage salary, which is about $26k per week.

HAHA. You knew what I meant. I thought he was over the $200K mark here but wasn't sure. I think it's a good chance we see him back next season.

If he is stuck on the practice roster all season, I wouldn't be surprised if he comes back next year.

Big must-win game tonight. Lions have a promotion: buy 3 tickets, get 1 free. Good for a group of friends or a family. Also, first 3000 fans get a BC Lions souvenir hard hat.

Also, speculation on twitter started by Jason Arakgi suggesting that Ryan Phillips may be returning to the Lions. I haven't seen anything else about this though.

First game in a while I am able to sit down at home and watch start to finish.

Lulay down... Jennings up!

Man we have had horrible luck for whoever starts the game at QB.

Can't say I've ever seen that before. The ball bounced a few times and settled EXACTLY on the goal line on a punt. Great placement by Long lol.

RP was also on the sidelines for the Lions tonight. Nice to see.

Feel absolutely awful for Lulay. Just praying it isn't a tear as that would likely end his career.

Fun game tonight. Good entertainment. The Lions played hard and dominated that game. On to Calgary!

Have to think Lulay's career is in jeopardy at this point. I mean, at his age and with his history of injuries I can't imagine this is going to be easy for him. He was having a great season. Really sad for him.
