As of now, not sure how I feel about giving up a 3rd rounder, but overall I guess it's an ok move.

Exactly the kind of trade we should be expecting. Not a rental and young to be a potentially important piece moving forward.

Hopefully we can offload Vrbata to get that 3rd back :)

his only real tool is his shot, but man its an amazing tool when he can use it

also you could tell his teammates loved him so he's probably a good locker room guy

change of scenery could definitely do him some good

best of luck to him in Fla
Kind of sounds like Pirri.

I’m cool with this. Guy still has potential and should work on the third. I’d bet money he’ll be more effective than Mcginn or Vrbata.

Fwiw, in 44 games last season he outproduced McCann's numbers this season in same amount of games. On the flip side, McCann is outproducing him big time but playing a handful more shifts a game.

Change of scenery RFAs are good gambles, imo. We bought low. Could give him fresh start, more minutes, competition between the young guys, McCann, Brickley, Malgin, etc.

We also need depth.

Don't know much about him but it's the kind of move that makes sense for us.

Wonder how soon he could be with us?
