Vatrano is a good skater. Pirri couldn't skate for shit.

Vatrano is also tiny, but built like a tank. He's not really a comparable player to Pirri aside from they both have good shots.

Fwiw, in 44 games last season he outproduced McCann's numbers this season in same amount of games. On the flip side, McCann is outproducing him big time but playing a handful more shifts a game.

Change of scenery RFAs are good gambles, imo. We bought low. Could give him fresh start, more minutes, competition between the young guys, McCann, Brickley, Malgin, etc.

We also need depth.

He could end up being another Casey wellman or he could be a 25 goals guy in your top 6, I hope he does well
