Not going Monday?

Great character win by the Attack. Never quit down 2 goals. SH goal really gave them a boost.
.

The Attack had a couple Shorties against the Rangers that were key as well.

The Attack are playing with house money.

All pressure is on the Otters. The Attack made necessary adjustments for game two, and held the high flying Otters in check .

Nice to see some scoring in Erie from supporting cast members.
Chase Campbell has upped his game in the playoffs, Big Rig has turned into a wrecking crew. Playing to his strengths. Sushko as well. Timely goals won that game.

Michael was great as well.

Moving Sushko to the top line was a smart move and good combo. I would go to that over Palmu on the top line so as to lower the overlap in style with Suzuki.

Agreed Campbell has been an energizer bunny out there. Causes havoc on the forecheck and always is in on the back check.

The Attack lead the playoffs in SH goals with six.Suzuki, Palmu and Hancock with two apiece .
Erie has one.

Erie has 12 PP goals in the playoffs, Attack ten.

Interestingly, the OHL website has not tagged Murdaca with last night's OT loss. Freudian slip ?

Both PP have been quiet this series so far. 6 shorties I wonder what the playoff record is?

Nice bend but never broke win, the Otters are starting to get frustrated.

They will for sure if its tight, and they will look to the refs for help imo.
It is what it is, but I didn't see a teams players go to the refs and "talk" as often as Eries.

All teams look for calls but they seemed to do it more than others. JMO based on limited views
Hoping to get up for a game 6.

Strome talked his way to an early shower tonight.

2 more wins :handclap::handclap:

If you can get the Otters off their game they break down. Their goaltending is not championship caliber imo.
Keep going take down the Otters. :yo:

The trick is to cut down Erie's time of possession and shots on goals, you do that it comes down to who ever has the better goaltender. Congrats to Owen Sound on their game three victory over Erie !

Strome talked his way to an early shower tonight.

I was wondering why he was escorted off after his penalty. Never got up on the board.

The Attack took the first, the Otters took the second and the third was pretty even. I thought that late goal in the 2nd might be the momentum swing the Otters needed but the Attack did well to keep playing their game in the 3rd and were rewarded.

Szypula is stepping into his role as grinder/agitator/goal scorer well. I think McGill and the fact that he is very clear with his players as to what role they have is behind this (Chase Campbell in an interview stated that when he joined the Attack it was the first time his role was defined for him). Although Zippy can get overly aggressive at times, he did take 2 penalties, I like where his game is now and he will be great OA next year. He's a fan favorite and I like that during the end of game celebrations he is always pumped and encouraging the crowd going that extra mile.

I think that players/coaches reference to the small rink could be that fact that at the bayshore with the low roof and scoreboard teams need to adapt their clearing and can't just sky it out.

The Attack need to be better in the faceoff circle. That's definitely an area that Erie has an edge. But as McGill noted in the presser as long as they aren't clean wins the Attack have worked well on getting on the puck.

The bayshore was rocking and I expect the same on Weds. Over $3000 50/50!!!

GO ATTACK GO!

Erie is very strong, London was an excellent faceoff team and they ended up pretty much even at the end of the day I believe? Anyway I don't think you are going to beat them on the dot so you need a plan assuming you lose the draw? Up 2-1 u r doing ok so far? Eries achillies is the goaltender, when I asked back at Xmas about it the Otter faithful were happy to head into the playoffs with goalies that had no playoff experience. Hmm could be the determining factor almost was against the Knights as well?

The Attack are doing great with much production for 21 and 39. If those two can manage to get the offence going, look out.

There were a few times where I thought the Attack were looking for the pass when a shot would have been a better option. If the can choose to shoot more I think there will be some very opportunistic rebounds for some of the Attack's bigger bodies as well as provide more space in the slot as the Erie Dmen have to commit more to the crease.

Great work from Schmalz, Campbell and Bourque again. They are playing their roles to perfection.

Playoff experience doesn't matter as much as talent does.

Devin Williams had a ton of playoff experience last season but he got exposed by the Knights.

Even McNiven himself doesn't have a lot of playoff experience prior to this season but he's a very talented goalie. That's the difference. The experience narrative is overblown.

McGill said he was happy with a scramble off draws and the chance for puck possession.

This time of year it matters not the goaltenders numbers, star players or anything else.

If you want to keep playing you have to keep winning. Simple as that.

Let's go Owen Sound! Mississauga wants you guys to win im sure, nothing agaisnt the Attack but Missi just dont match up well agaisnt Erie. Lesser of 2 evils really! Would be a great finals to see Attack vs. Steelheads. 2 hottest teams(East/West) in the 2nd half.

Can't argue with that statement of course. Timpano having played in Sudbury has not been in a playoff game since minor hockey 4 years ago. I would suggest that if he had of had playoff experience in those 4 years he may in fact be more a more talented goalie.

Wouldn't that be a strange twist of fate if it's a Mississauga vs. OS final. Just like 2011 except you guys have a different name. Your rink will be packed if it does happen.

I for one, being an attack fan residing in Guelph, would be very happy about the possibility of watching a game in the bayshore south, but let's not get ahead of ourselves. Erie is a great team with top notch talent. This series is far from over. Also, Peterborough is done yet.

With 2 assists tonight, Nick Suzuki rises to 4th in playoff scoring . He's now ahead of Dylan Strome.

Petrus Palmu is 6th .

Hope some team gives Palmu a shot at pro hockey soon.
