Evermore is simply a god on Roadhog. Watching him destroy a pharamercy combo was insanely fun to watch.

Managed to get a quick play in with Orisa....
Trying to decide when and how best to place ult is a bit of a trick when pushing an attack.
Also, her survivability actually feels lower than I expected it to be.

I've tried a few times to play QP to snag her but I can't beat my teammates to it

Just got this game, and loving it. I'm just going left to right on the bottom of characters from game to game so I can learn their moves and such. Why I waited this long to get the game is dissapointing me.

Tracer owns Orisa. Played a match of 5 Orisa v 6 Orisa and I was Tracer. Walked through the enemy team due to hit boxes and agility. Additional Pharmercy isn't too bad, Orisa can fight back but is a big hit box to take a lot of damage.

Orisa is probably the weakest tank in the game, even more so than Winston due to mobility. But she has some good tricks up her sleeve that make me wonder if her alongside Reinhardt wouldn't be OP. Rein to handle close range, Orisa for distance and one of their shields up 24/7. Plus damage boost and the ability to pull people into a hammer.

Yeah. Up to 15 games in QP now with Orisa. 9-6 in those.
She's effective on payload escorts as an only tank but definitely vulnerable to quick flankers.

I find the spread on her gun is just enough that you miss small targets in close if they're running around you.

Pairing up with another tank is good for shields though. Winston is also effective for this.

Also graviton pairs nicely with Pharah and Junkrat as you can clump the other team together when they're trying to make a stand on a point or at a choke, and area damage is then wasted less

Blizz may have intentionally or unintentionally made playing supports worse with the last patch.

https://www.reddit.com/r/Overwatch/comments/617rp1/bug_in_sr_gains_for_all_supporters_except_maybe/

Basic gist of it; Assist point value dropped -> harder to get on fire for supports since they rely on assists -> gain less SR and lose more SR since on fire is part of performance. Lucio, Ana and Mercy are all heavily affected. Zenyatta more varied since it depends on elimination output too. Symmetra works differently so she's not affected.

Not cool if this was intentional. You should be trying to have people want to play support, not pull garbage like this. The guys who did the research on this went fairly indepth too covering statistics from top 500 all the way down to bronze so it looks like they're on to something.

Edit: It's a bug confirmed by Blizzard devs, is being looked at.

I noticed this the other day with Lucio and Mercy, way lower assist numbers. Zenyatta I was fine.

Seeing way too many people play Orisa as a Bastion with a shield. Kinda frustrating because it's actually probably the worst playstyle for that character

Don't know exactly what changed but I've climbed from high diamond/low master to a new career high of 3800 today (then lost two to end it tonight at 3745)

Just playing my game, super aggro Lucio going for boops and 1v1'ing when I get the chance. Doing some shot calling and conducting the flow of our pushes playing with some dive comps.

Can't wait for the Lucio changes to hit console, I think I'll be a lot more effective at my game

So Lucio changes went live.
Also new pve uprising mode is alright, though I feel it's a bit long. Seems to average around 17-20 minutes on normal.

PVE is awesome for churning out exp. Get like 3-5k per match. Jumped from like level 608 to 614 playing it all day yesterday.

The Lucio changes are also much welcomed. So many times i'd go for a boop on like Ilios lighthouse only for the stupid lip of the ledge to just barely save them. I tend to be moving around the team so the range reduction should actually help since i can heal more in theory.

Though i'm more of a D.Va guy now. Climbed back to platinum after a brutal start to the season (i think i lost like something like 15 of 17 games after placing)

The event is fun but the unlockables are a little disappointing I think

Genji and Widow are cool, but the rest are pretty lame. Maybe its just me, but the Overwatch commander outfits aren't very interesting. Except the Torb white shirt Torb one.

I can't see myself using any of the new skins over any of my old ones except the Torb one and Widow

I tried event on hard once got wiped.
Still finding even on normal most people playing have no idea how to handle a pve mode and go charging off into the middle of a bunch of eradicators... And have no idea how to prioritize targets when protecting the payload.

Also, seems everyone forgets about the tank Bastion that spawns (and ignore the turret Bastion near the spawn room exit) when people charge the last two Orisa bots.

For those having a hard time with Uprising, you don't need to charge madly at the detonators when they spawn. Reinhardt can block the explosion with his shield instead of risking himself by trying to push it away.

Only thing is you kind of have to have the right angle on the payload since the explosion can get through if you don't position yourself right.

The Bastions seem to me to be the biggest problem, because the person playing Tracer plays a flanker (when that doesn't work), and then you have to use Rein and Mercy to rez. Which exposes Torb.

I wish people would learn already to stay tighter as a group. Makes Rein and Mercy more effective that way. Everything comes to you regardless.

If anyone plays on XB1 and wants to try to beat the event on Expert/Legendary we could team up

A neat tip for beating legendary

https://www.reddit.com/r/Overwatch/...beat_legendary_uprising_with_a_pretty_simple/
So me and my friends had been trying to beat Uprising on its legendary difficulty for around 6 hours, but every time we got to the last section, we all died to the Bastions in the back. After a good amount of salt had been sent towards the Bastions, I proposed that we should try a different approach.

Don't kill the first OR14. Instead, we decided to ignore it completely, so we could go in and kill the four Bastions in their turret form first. Apparently, the other OR14's don't spawn, unless you've already killed the first one and Tank Configuration Bastions don't spawn either. This gave us a ton of breathing space to kill the Turret Bastions and then kill the first OR14 afterwards. From there we just had to kill the three other OR14's and focus on killing the Tank Configuration Bastions whenever they spawned.

After we began doing this, we had cleared Legendary within an hour. Now excuse me as I go spray my new OR14-NS spray everywhere.

TL;DR: There are four Turret Bastions in the last section. Kill them before the first OR14.

Another tip is you can run straight to the gate once the cart spawns to prevent the alleyway of enemies.

wasnt that patched today?

On PC yeah. As of this afternoon, it still works on console.

It's super handy since you can basically go and hide in the last stages of the payload counter and not have to worry about health since no more enemies will spawn. Had a couple Torbs run for cover in the last 20 or so seconds while the rest of the team was on the ground. Wait for bots to blow themselves up, come out and rez everyone, move on like nothing happened.

Legendary is brutal. Got to the last stage with 3/4 Orisas dead but died in vain anyways. Tracer needs to be on point and Torb needs to keep armor glued to her for any hope of winning.

When will we able to choose which game mode we want to play? I don't want to play those crappy escort games; I want to play KOTH. Seriously, how haven't they figured out yet that the maps are the biggest thing limiting this game's fun.
