He’s middle six forward on an awful team like Ottawa or Detroit. On a good team, he’s a healthy scratch some nights. I got 4 out of 4.

He's playing a top 6 C role on a bad team, but would not be out of place as a 3rd line C on a good team, and can play 2C for short stretches when injuries make the need for it.

He's got a bad reputation because of his performance last year, but it's undeserved this year. He's young and makes mistakes, and I don't defend him often, but he doesn't deserve that bullshit.

He'd be 3C on the Oilers without contest.
