Also just read somewhere that Dergachev went from being 200lbs. on the CSS Final Rankings to being 226lbs. at the combine. That's a 26lbs. gain within 2-3 weeks. Don't know if it was muscle gain or fat gain, but yikes.

I know this is obvious, but they need top line/top 6 snipers/finishers not 3rd line checkers/grinders. They already have enough of those.

Alexander Dergachyov looks pretty good. Probably will stay in Russian a while like Buchnevich

He does, but I'm really hoping that that 26lbs. gained was muscle and not fat.

Also in case you didn't hear....

- Derek Ryan (goal scoring phenom in the SHL last season) signed with Carolina.

- Pens signed Swedish defender Niclas Andersen.

- New Jersey signed defenseman Vojtech Mozik.

The Mozik signing actually pisses me off a bit. I feel that he just jipped the Ranger brass for more scouting and whatnot. Like you come to their development camp for 2 years straight, making every which notification that both sides want to work on the skills needed that would eventually get a contract made/signed, but then once he became a now viable NHL prospect, signs elsewhere? Makes no sense to me and IMO gives a big "**** You" to NYR for all those years they put into him.



Karma will kick in sooner or later.

What do think about Nikita Korostelev if they get an extra late 2nd/early 3rd? So many potential targets in this draft.
