I think either way it's guaranteed we're going to lose a good player next expansion draft, unless we can work out a deal with Seattle which still could be painful pick/prospect wise.

It didn't "appear out of nowhere", I brought it up because I was reading about the Seattle situation. It was just a question, no need to freak out. Permission to resume your happy talk. We’re in the thick of *finally* having real **** to talk about, and in the middle of talking about the lines for opening night, anxiety about the ****ing expansion draft appears outta nowhere.
ADHD is a hell of drug.
If we are developing as we hope and expect, we'll either have enough assets in picks and prospects to pay them off, or we'll be able to withstand losing one solid piece. If not, it doesn't matter anyways.
The Caps had what was probably the worst loss for any team during the expansion draft and still won the cup. We did better than any other team did during the expansion draft and missed the playoffs. If we're good, we'll manage to deal with the loss. If we're not good, it won't matter either way.
A lot of these combos are cobbled together somewhat because we don't have Rask yet. Even if he wasn't producing as much last year, he is good defensively and with faceoffs. We need him back! Any updates on how long he is out for?
What can I expect from Slavin? Think he puts up more points this year? Can he hit 15G? PP time? Cheers!
He'll probably play on the 2nd PP but he's definitely not scoring 15 goals. That will be Hamilton and/or Faulk. What can I expect from Slavin? Think he puts up more points this year? Can he hit 15G? PP time? Cheers!

5-10 goals, 30-40 points is probably a safe bet.
Thanks! Should I drop him and pick up Faulk in my fantasy team?
Also how serious did Darling look?
Thanks for the help. Rooting for you this year. Hamilton will do awesome on your blue line. Good hockey trade in the end.

Faulk > Slavin in fantasy no brainer.
Given that we just saw our starting goalie leave the game with “a lower body concern,” does anyone think we might make a waiver claim on one of the guys the Leafs have to send down?
The team has placed Connor Carrick, Curtis McElhinney and Calvin Pickard on waivers in order to send them to the minor leagues.
