Tilted our way actually with including Mikkola who is playing like a top 4 Defenseman. He stabilizes the whole D group with Lindgren being out injured.

So we traded top line forward for top line forward and then got a 1st and 3rd for a second pairing d man on an expiring contract?

Blais has been good, but his movement still doesn’t look quite right. Subban really did a number on him. Hope Tarasenko + Mikkola work out well for NY and Sammy can resurrect his career in StL. Early results for Blais are promising and I wouldn’t bet against a 6th round pick who scratched and clawed his was to the NHL.

There’s no condition that would make the 3rd a 2nd. It was a 4th that became a 3rd when the Rangers clinched the playoffs
