Rangers needed a depth D on the right. If Fox, Trouba, and Schneider all stay healthy, he won't see any time. Even if they don't, he might not. They did just find with 4 lefties in the lineup when Fox was hurt in November.

All kidding aside, he's a fine #6/7. We lose perspective because he's a vanilla player who has ups and downs and we hate Mike Sullivan. So a lot of Sullivan hates gets projected on to Rudwedel. There have been several times in the last couple of seasons where the guy has played solid on the bottom pairing.

I wouldn't be upset that you got him as a depth piece. He's worth a 5th or 6th but you paid the TDL price of a 4th because there aren't that many serviceable RD out there for cheap.
