Nylander right now Petterssons ceiling is probably higher but right now it has to be Nylander.

nah, he is not dangled by every leaf fan, but by an awful lot, unfortunately, because a bunch of them have absolutely lost it since the loss against boston in game 7.

Nylander is trade bait now. He won't win any of these polls
He just proved again he cant get it done in the playoffs. Leafs would be foolish to trade him now well his value is so low lol

I can't wait to see Pettersson come into the NHL and play average. Just to see the massive amounts of Canucks fans collectively shit themselves and back track.

Fan of neither team and I'll take Pettersson, easily. More risky but higher potential. Also, I think Pettersson has a safe floor in the NHL, given what he's accomplished so far in the SHL compared to historical NHL players.

Until we see Pettersson in the NHL this has to be Nylander.

Willy is a 21 year old 60 point forward right now with plenty of room to grow.

William Nylander is 22 and is proven to score 60 points in the NHL.

So I guess it comes down to everyones prediction, I personally think Pettersson at 22,will be the better player by far.

I think it’s best to take a ‘wait an see’ approach, you shouldn’t have bad wishes for a kid.
By no means am I wishing anything bad on the kid. I'm just saying, the amount hype and expectations this guy has on this website from some, he's going to have to put up a very good rookie campaign. Otherwise there will be mass panic.
