If nobody has done it yet for the Flyers fans someone needs to post the .gif of Hartman jumping up and down and pointing to his nuts in the playoffs last year. That will forever be how I remember Ryan Hartman
And above average stupid penalty taking skillsI think he's an above-average 3rd liner with great penalty-drawing skills
Between Boyle and Simmonds it seems we have the vast majority of New Jersey/Eastern PA in our corner.Nashville has been my second team since Laviolette took over, also as a goalie, i'm a giant fan of Rinne.
Now with Simmonds, i hope you guys absolutely win everything.
Good luck
I think so. What Hartman really needs is something of a throwback coach who is willing to employ him as an old school agitator/pest riding shotgun on at least a 2nd line, though. If somebody buys into him enough that they play him with skilled players, accept the sandpaper he brings - both in terms of drawing penalties and sometimes taking "stupid" ones himself, then he could be fine. But the NHL is evolving and I don't know how many modern coaches are buying into that player archetype anymore. Is hartman at least a competent third liner?
Goddamn, that roster is looking so much sexier now.So uh - whose moving to play LW?
Forsberg - Johansen - Arvidsson
Granlund - Turris - Smith
Jarnkrok - Bonino - Simmonds
Boyle - Sissons - Grimaldi
Hi, I'm David. Remember that soul crushing offer sheet you made me eat? Here is Hartman... I'll take Simmonds. Thanks. Bye.
Y u no clothesline him?McDavid walked right by me. That was cool.
That would be blasphemous....he's McJeeeeeeeeezus!Y u no clothesline him?
I liked what I thought Hartman could develop in to, but I don't think he's a player you ever lose sleep over dealing. His lack of game sense with the antics at times was quickly tiresome. At even strength neither one are difference makers.
They said on the radio here yesterday there are rumblings he's looking at houses.I'll probably be futilely beating this drum til the season's over. Can we please re-sign Brian Boyle (even if just one year at a time)?
Exactly! And Poile didn't get him to give him second line 5v5 minutes. At even strength neither one are difference makers.
