Real talk though, it's gonna be a shame if they get rid of Tippett this offseason. He's a top-notch coach.

Maybe if Phoenix sucks again next season and Ruff can't get us in the playoffs, we'd entertain bringing Tippett back. Pretty much a pipe dream, but who knows.

Tippett is such a bad fit for a team like Arizona though, rebuilding teams are better off being coached by a Bob Hartley type; a coach who likes to play young players, has an very fast pace/entertaining style and emphasis hard work every shift.

A win puts us two points closer and this also puts the Kings in an even tighter bind.
