The Jets are the only team in the league that could get a 5 on 0 breakaway and not come up with so much as a shot on goal. I've lost count how many times that they had a magnificent scoring opportunity or an extended possession in the offensive zone and not even get a stinkin' shot on goal.

Imagine how much more dissapointing these games would have been if we were actually in a close playoff fight and somehow did not blow the games to Arizona, the OT's to Dallas and the big important ones to the Wings, and Sens. I feel we still would have lost all these games against these good east teams to crush the playoff dream and it would have been bad to watch. Well even worse then it already is now I guess

Our backup goalie was better than theirs. Comrie was a bright spot. So was KFC’s 44th.

Other than that, another shitty defensive game with a stupid amount of shots against.

Reffing, bounces, Covid, yada yada.

Well said. The refs certainly had a hand in this one but the Jets were still outworked, out hustled and out played. The refs did not have to help the Canes and please explain how that was not goalie interference!!!!
