Well in the NHL there is video review so they would have just been like, "oh, the clock malfunctioned." They either would have replayed the last 5.4 seconds or they would have said, "time expired before the puck crossed the line, no goal. Game over."
Yes Fed hockey is an entertainment product, even the Blues are an entertainment product. The difference being is the Fed is still way more affordable. The Fed doesn't affect you in any way personally, I feel bad you're that consumed and depressed by the Federal league hockey. Even Sabre Mike managed to recognize the value. He caught a championship game, joined in the mayhem with the hooligans in 102, and walked out with a cook t-shirt. Sabre Mike knows a good value and enjoyed himself.
Just want to point out that I have said repeatedly that the Fed is what it is and there is a place for it just like low level indy wrestling promotions. Should also be noted that the league has (admittedly out of self preservation) made efforts to try and tone down the mayhem which is commendable.
