Correct predictions are rare, so I'm going to pat myself on the back for this one.

The writing was on the wall when they hired Pandolfo last year.

Grier would be a good choice. I know he's working in the Rangers front office, and I'd guess that's a cushy job with a good work/life balance, so he may just not be interested. He was living in Needham and coaching at St. Sebastian's after he retired, but most of his post-retirement work has been in the NHL.

With Pandolfo, I remember when he left the Bruins for BU last year, there was a lot of talk that he was going to replace O'Connell sooner than later.

Yep. Seemed inevitable. Leave the Bruins to join a lame duck HC. He had to know the job was going to be his. Or at least that he would be given strong consideration.

Wodon is saying Greg Brown but Nate Leaman is the other finalist. Both he and Brown are meeting with Fr. Leahy this week.
