Lebron and Melo to hit FA... pipe dreams for the Wiz but just think if we could add 1 more big time talent to wall and beal
The Lakers want them both and are willing to pay the 7th OA pick for someone to take Steve Nash and his expiring contract off their hands. The Wizards should be all over that. Sets them up nicely for this next summer and beyond, especially if they can move Nene for more cap flexibility.

Ted will be looking for that last 15% in attendance to get his sellouts. I think we see at least one big star come in this offseason.

There would be a lot of teams that would be all over that. But it would definitely be a great trade for the Wizards. Gordon or Randle would be realistic possibilities at 7.

steve nash has said he will retire if he gets traded, he doesnt want to move his family after all the ******** he went through to get his kids back. so the lakers will probably keep him for one more season

Don't understand Ted. If you want to build through the draft why the hell would you want Ernie leading the rebuild?

Harper needs to shut his mouth and do his job. He sounds like a brat.

He and RG3 make a great couple of underachieving, egotistical prima donnas here. Same career pattern to boot.

haha... financials coming out, Ted's losing cash!

He must be pretty awful if they can't make money on the Wizards with a 2 round playoff and decent attendance (and not paying a dime in tax).

He is like 100% correct, though. At the very least, Span batting lead off coupled with Bryce Harper batting 6th is dumb on every level. There were 6 guys in the lineup last night that get on base at a better clip than Span.

Werth RF, Harper CF, Rendon 3B, LaRoche 1B, Zimmerman LF, Ramos C, Desmond SS, Espinosa 2B is going to give you your most well rounded offensive/defensive lineup. If Espinosa's improved left handed approach continues to be productive, the upgrade of his defense vs. Zimmerman at 3rd will certainly compensate for anything you'd potentially lose with his bat vs. Span.

Not hitting Harper in the top 4 is ridiculous. This "he's a 5 hole guy or a 6 hole guy" old school garbage Matt Williams keeps believing is getting old. Get your best guys more AB's..it should really be obvious at this point.

Of course we're talking about a manager who insisted on running Nate McClouth out there everyday as his starting left fielder for ~40 games when he was hitting .080, so...not saying the bench was overflowing with capable alternatives, but .080?! His lineup construction and bullpen usage have been brutal all season.

Maybe it was a coincidence but moving Zimmerman back to 3rd at least got his bat back for a game. Before last night he had hit .190 over 100 at bats in June.

And obviously it is a small sample size at 3rd but he is 15/36 while playing 3rd compared to 19/96 while playing left this season.

I didn't have a problem with field position comment. The batting position comment though was little ****** after missing 56 or so games. I dug the batting lineup personally.

Gortat resigned today

5yrs/60mil.

Good for the Wiz.

Ted has spent 130mil today. Wow.

Now just Ariza left. I bet they resign him. Keep the band together, and press for a deeper run based on chemistry and growth from young players.
