Gallagher is a great proven scoring winger, well liked by many fans.

Quinn Hughes is a highly ranked dman prospect that many predict will be a all-star high scoring QB type for many years to come, a franchise type dman that fits the Canucks needs way more than a youngerish veteran scoring winger. As such Quinn Hughes is untouchable from the Canucks POV.
