There's nothing that makes sense from Vancouver's POV because Hughes fills their biggest need.

KK is in the same realm of value but would be blocked by EP and Horvat so that doesn't make sense either.

You're right, it is wrong. The base is so far off, and additions are lesser pieces than the base piece (Gallagher), that Montreal wouldn't have to add a fair amount, they'd have to look for a completely different deal.

when he came down and took that slapper top corner at full speed alot of reporters pointed out how that was a shot that was reminiscent of Gretzky. That's the only time i have seen that.

Anyone can play wing. Look what the return for signed Stone was, Brannstrom. Hughes is even better not a remote chance in hell is this even remotely close.

The general consensus among scouts, analysts and most fans across the league is that Hughes is a top end prospect with top pairing upside. It's not Vancouver fans who built his hype.
