Elias is another confusing case. He is a clear heel but Cole loves him and the heel-leaning Graves hates him.

I think all of this comes from the whole "there are no faces and heels anymore" mentality. It's fine to have ambiguous characters, but not in a medium like wrestling. Good guys vs bad guys works just fine for wrestling.
