I'm happy he's scoring. That confidence seems to have gone to his legs.

He doesn't have to be a perfect player to be useful, he just has to be better than he was the first dozen games.

Even last year he scored at a 40 points per 82 games pace. Hopefully he can get back to that this year, and cut down on the turnovers.

Happy for him to be producing as he'll be there at the start of next season also.

No way someone trades for him with another year on his deal.

Go Mike Go!

Mike Hoffman is a streaky player. He is hot now and will turn back into being a waste of a roster spot in time.

What are your thoughts about MSL saying he liked Hoffman's game prior to his hot streak? Ever consider that player values is not solely based on points?

Hoffman has been playing consistently all season. Points come and go for players like this and that also includes Anderson, Dvorak, etc. How they are playing in other areas besides points matters. Hoffman's turnover/60 is very good this season but most will ignore that.

Dadonov has been better of late as well. But some will look at his points and they don't even watch the games

Montreal is the NHL contract graveyard. You can make big money, and no worries if you don't earn that salary, as long as your game passes the eye test from Tony Robbins, our head coach.

The Hoff is a freaking Warrior!! The amount of pain he had to be in and he still came back to finish the game. :handclap:

Imagine they buy him out this summer. Caphit be 1.6 million. Each year for next 2 years.

If we were trying to contend, that would be a no-brainer

But unless something crazy happens and we desperately need the cap room for some other big moves, can't see any point in that.

Overpaid depth winger
Waived & sent to the minors
Traded with retention

Any of those options seem preferable
