Condon for a conditional pick.
Was on waivers, but we weren't in need a of tendy at the time.

Not against having an experienced backup, but didn't the Habs put this guy on waivers a month ago?...seems like poor asset management regardless of how low of a pick we gave up.

We didn't need a goalie when he was placed on waivers.
Picking him up now but not then suggests to me that Hammond's injury may be more serious than first thought. Or we just want to give Anderson the latitude to come and go as he needs to. No problem with the asset management given circumstances.
Really?? we had a need .Besides a 5th rounder isnt likely to be much of anything ,even if he does become a player it will likely be 5 years down the roadYes hindsight changes everything, but still...why give up a 5th rounder on a guy that will likely place at most 15-20 games for us this season?

Hopefully we're able to trade Condon/Hammond to a team in need of a goalie throughout the year.
Hammond has proven to be unreliable, getting Condon is a very solid move for us ,Hammy on waivers as soon as he is healthy

Yep,nothing wrong with this move at allGreat asset Management by Pitt. Good on Dorion for picking up a legit Goalie to help us get wins. He is serious about winning, sometimes these soft trades turn out to be really important
Pittsburgh had a need as well given that Matt Murray was returning very soon, Condon likely would've been placed on waivers again if Rutherford couldn't find a team desperate enough to give something up for him.
